Hey NW Natural! Stop the LNG Pipeline!

During our long fight to keep destructive Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) out of Oregon, we've come to this disappointing realization:  NW Natural is the LNG pusher. Now NW Natural is threatening to ruin family farms with their new LNG pipeline.

Please join the Hey NWNatural Campaign today!

Hundreds of farmers are worried about the future of their land and Steve Wick, an old-time Oregonian who raises filberts, is one of them.

Steve, like all Oregonian farmers, loves his land. He wants to produce food for our region and he wants to be a part of the growing agricultural and wine industry in the Willamette Valley. But right now, his goals have been put on hold because NW Natural proposes an LNG pipeline across Steve's land.

Steve is not alone. He is one of hundreds of Oregonian farmers whose land is in jeopardy.

NW Natural's Palomar pipeline would originate at the Bradwood LNG terminal on the Columbia, cut through private farmland, and carry imported gas to California and other markets. The 120-foot right-of-way necessary for building the pipeline would tear through expensive irrigation structures and disallow crops with deep roots. This is all for dirty energy and against the will of the landowners.

For too many years residents all over the Pacific Northwest have been fighting the development of LNG import terminals and associated pipelines. With LNG comes thirty more years of imported dirty fossil fuels, and hundreds of miles of local environmental damage. Our local natural gas company, NW Natural Gas Co, is pushing for the development in an effort to increase their profits while Oregon and Washington residents and gas customers bear the burden.

That's why NW Natural customers have partnered with farmers across the region to fight it and have formed the Hey! NW Natural Campaign. From students, to property rights advocates to fishermen, we can work together to protect a clean energy future and hold NW Natural accountable to the will of the people.

Our goal is to build our network up to 500 people by November 12th, and we can't do it without you. Can you join us and take that important step of campaign?
