Why just celebrate Earth Day? How about Earth Month? The fine folks at Aveda are once again raising funds for Columbia Riverkeeper during the entire month of April and having a lot of fun doing it. Visit a participating Aveda Salon, and you can treat yourself AND support clean water.

Aveda’s commitment to clean water and being a good corporate citizen is evident all year long but showcased in April across the country. The funds they raise support water quality monitoring and holding polluters accountable. We are very grateful to be the local beneficiary of their fun fabulous efforts.
When you protect water you protect what you love; Animals, kids, our environment–everything. We could not have said it better. Aveda Gives Back
Since 1999 the Aveda network, including salons, spas and schools across the country, have been raising awareness and funds for Earth Month. Since then the network has collectively raised over $60-million dollars that go to a variety of organizations that help protect clean water locally and around the world. Aveda also releases a seasonal Earth Month light the Way Candle with 100 percent of the profits going to better the water in over 70 countries in need.
