No Methanol Mondays

By the end of January, we expect the Washington Department of Ecology to release the final decision on the shorelines permit for the world’s largest fracked gas-to-methanol refinery, proposed in Kalama, Washington. We are in the final push to make your voices heard!

Join us for virtual No Methanol Mondays!

Here are some quick and easy actions you can take today to speak up for our river, our communities, and our environment:

1. SIGN OUR PETITION to Washington Department of Ecology and Governor Inslee to just say NO to Kalama Methanol.

2. CALL Governor Inslee: Make a phone call to Governor Inslee’s office at 360-902-4111. Press 2 to leave a message. Leave a message telling him that you are counting on his administration to deny the Kalama methanol refinery, a project that would use more fracked gas than all of Washington’s power plants, combined. Washington would be worsening the climate crisis by building the world’s largest fracked gas-to-methanol refinery

3. Share our weekly emails and social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with your friends and neighbors.
