About: Due to the inclement weather Miles Johnson from Columbia Riverkeeper won't be able to attend. However, commercial fishers Amy Grondin (Duna Fisheries, LLC) and Rob Seitz (South Bay Wild) will continue the talk about Lower Snake and Klamath dam removal efforts. This workshop “Dam removal: successes, challenges, and opportunities” is for anyone who cares about restoring abundant salmon runs in the Pacific Northwest. With a focus on recent efforts to remove big hydropower dams on the Lower Snake and Klamath rivers. The good news: dams in the Klamath appear set for removal; what did it take to get to this point?
