DESCRIPTION:Oregon just opened a public comment period on NEXT Renewable Fuels’ proposal to build a massive diesel refinery in the Columbia River Estuary. The refinery would be among the largest of its kind in America and one of the top greenhouse gas polluters in Oregon.  \nMany local residents and farmers who rely on clean water oppose the project.
