This summer, like 2015, is another step towards extinction for endangered Snake River sockeye salmon. About 656 of these endangered fish—bound to spawn in central Idaho—returned to the Snake River. But nearly two-thirds of these died (or will soon die) without making it past Little Goose Dam in eastern Washington. Hot water, caused by dams and climate change, again killed a significant portion of this endangered salmon run. Learn how dam removal would cool the Lower Snake River and stay current by reading the weekly Hot Water Report. Then take action by rallying to free the Snake River.
