Today we say goodbye to Staff Attorney Erin Saylor. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Erin over the past three years, and her dedication, compassion, and outstanding legal abilities will be very much missed.

As you may know, Erin provided excellent legal support for Columbia Riverkeeper’s campaigns to stop dirty fossil fuels and help transition the Northwest to a clean and just energy future. She played key roles in recent victories over the Zenith oil-by-rail terminal, as well as fracked gas proposals in Oregon and Washington. More than that, she remained a gracious, flexible, and dependable co-worker and human—even as the world turned upside down over the past two years.

Fortunately for all of us, Erin will keep working to protect the Columbia River and the Pacific Northwest! Her passion for clean air and water are taking her next to the enforcement division of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.

From everyone at Riverkeeper: “Thank you, and good luck, Erin!”
