Hanford: A Future Worth Fighting For

Add your voice to the growing number of people urging the U.S. government to prioritize public health, clean water, and strong salmon runs.

Tell the U.S. Gov. to prioritize public health, clean water, and strong salmon runs

The U.S. Dept. of Energy (Energy) wants to know what cleanup plans WE want prioritized at Hanford. From now until April 15, is our chance to urge the U.S. government to prioritize public health, clean water, and strong salmon runs. Take action today.

What are we asking for? Cleanup plans that:
  1. Prioritize the River Corridor with a stronger focus on addressing pollution close to the Columbia River, and
  2. Focus on a whole-site approach to Hanford’s groundwater.
Interested in hearing what Energy’s plans are?

Tonight (March 15) at 5:30 p.m., Energy is providing a public briefing on its Hanford cleanup priorities and accepting comments from the public.

Energy’s failure to prioritize groundwater remediation in the Central Plateau and River Corridor is unacceptable and puts the Columbia River, fish, wildlife, and the people that depend on them at risk. Sign the petition today!

The fight for a thorough and just cleanup of Hanford continues.

Join Columbia Riverkeeper as we let the U.S. government know what cleanup priorities WE want prioritized at Hanford.
