Hanford Double-shelled Tank Likely Leaking Radioactive Material Into Soil
On June 20, Hanford workers discovered radioactive material outside double-shelled tank AY-102. Last fall a leak in this tank was found, but it was preciously thought that the radioactive waste was only leaking into the space between the tank's two walls.
