Fighting Fossil Fuels in Vancouver, Washington: City Council passes six month fossil fuel moratorium

This month, the Vancouver City Council passed a six-month moratorium that prohibits the construction or expansion of bulk fossil fuel terminals. Bulk fossil fuel terminals are defined as very large coal, fracked gas, oil, or other fossil fuel facilities, projects similar to the defeated Tesoro-Savage oil train terminal. Send a thank you note to city officials.

Stunning new fossil fuel proposals threaten the Columbia. The good news? We are fighting and winning!
