Lisa Muñoz, Outreach Coordinator
Lisa Muñoz (she/her/hers or they/them/theirs) works in the Hanford outreach program and in development. She was raised on traditional Wasco and Wishram lands. Her passion for the health and safety of the Columbia River comes from being raised by two immigrant parents that cultivated a deep love and respect for nature and all it provides. She’s passionate about encouraging the public to use their power in creating change and educating her community about the threats to their environment. Lisa holds a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Lewis & Clark College. When Lisa is not working, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and her dog, Dulce.
Riverkeeper’s team includes scientists, environmental lawyers, and community organizers. We work to organize and empower local communities, enforce environmental laws, and build strategic coalitions. Our mission is to protect and restore the Columbia River and all life connected to it.
