Columbia Riverkeeper is people powered, literally. Over 8,000 people received our December Top 5. Like you they also care about the Columbia and staying informed. Thousands of you are showing up at public meetings, writing letters, talking to your neighbors, testing water quality, organizing others to stand up for the river and protecting our right to clean water.
We are powered by our 4,500 current members giving between $35 and $20,000 annually. It is because of our members we are able to remain nimble and strategic. As we all know, coal, oil, and gas companies are formidable and well-funded. Because of our donors, Riverkeeper’s team of organizers, scientists, and lawyers are able to take on high-powered polluters. We literally could not do it without you.
