Our COVID-19 Actions

We have canceled all events and meetings. We are continuing to fight for clean water and healthy communities. Take action today.

Our COVID-19 Actions

We are taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously. Columbia Riverkeeper has: canceled all events and meetings; canceled our grassroots canvass; and recommended that staff work from home until health officials recommend otherwise. The health and safety of our community, staff, and members is our highest priority.

Does that mean our work is stopping? Heck no! We are fighting everyday for clean water and our climate. Check out our latest work to stop pollution, fight fossil fuels, save salmon, engage communities, and clean up Hanford here

Here are three things you can do right now:
  1. Take Action: Amplify your voice by signing a petition about salmon and orcas, nuclear waste cleanup, the world’s largest fracked-gas-to-methanol refinery, radioactive fracking waste, or the Portland Clean Energy Fund. Petitions and public comments make a difference (columbiariverkeeper.org/take-action).
  2. Stay Engaged: Follow us on social media for the latest issues facing the Columbia River (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  3. Support: Your membership keeps the Columbia River a place where people can swim and fish—now and for future generations (columbiariverkeeper.org/donate)!

You can reach our staff at these phone numbers. We will continue to receive mail—so keep those donations and nice letters coming! We are wishing everyone good health during this challenging time. As always, thank you for your support and commitment to clean water.
