First Zenith Public Hearing and Rally – In Person

Because of an unsubstantiated anonymous tip about potential disruptions at tonight’s Zenith hearing, University of Portland’s security has threatened to involve the police if any “rally” occurs outside the hearing venue. This could include holding signs, chanting, or other unspecified behavior.
We hope that you will still attend this important public hearing on Zenith—but we want you to understand the risks. This is our one chance to show up in person and let DEQ see the strength of the opposition to Zenith’s proposal. DEQ will share information about the draft air quality permit, answer questions, and accept verbal comments.
