Current Projects

Columbia Gorge Youth Education

Through our education program we engage students and families in restoring a former industrial site to promote environmental education among diverse communities. As a place-based organization, the Nichols Natural Area, serves as our field-based classroom for students.

Prevent Pollution

Preventing pollution at the source offers critical opportunities to keep toxics out of the Columbia River. Do your part to advocate for pollution prevention and learn about personal choices to support clean water.

Pollution Prevention Curriculum

We offer four free, easy-to-implement science units that tackle important environmental issues and inspire action by empowering students with the tools to make a difference. Students will learn to define problems, evaluate evidence, and develop their own solutions.

Water Quality Monitoring

State and federal agencies collect very little site-specific data to help you decide how safe a particular part of the Columbia is for swimming.
