
Hood River Film Screening: These Sacred Hills
You are invited to a showing of the award winning documentary, These Sacred Hills, a powerful three-year collaboration between filmmakers Jacob Bailey, Christopher Ward, and members of the Rock Creek Band of the Yakama Nation in Klickitat County. The film follows members of the Rock Creek Band as they confront the Goldendale Pumped Storage development threatening their sacred mountain, Pushpum.
When: Friday April 24, 2026, doors open at 6:30 p.m., film starts at 7 p.m.
Where: Columbia Center for the Arts, 215 Cascade Ave., Hood River, OR 97031
Cost: This event is free, but seating is limited and must be reserved, get your ticket here!
About: The film runs for an hour and half and will be followed by a Q&A with Elaine Harvey, Chief Bronsco Jim Jr. and Councilman Jeremey Takala.
