Wanda (she/her) serves on Columbia Riverkeeper’s communications team, intentionally and creatively moving the organization’s mission forward by overseeing email and website marketing efforts to drive engagement.
What inspires you to do this work?
I’m moved by how this organization advocates for environmental justice, leading with equity, diversity, and inclusion, and by all of the incredible people along the Columbia River that have been advocating for its health and safety for generations. The incredible activism and advocacy by community members constantly inspire me and give me hope for the future. It is an honor to work to protect the precious water that our community and planet rely upon.
Meet the Team
Riverkeeper’s team includes scientists, environmental lawyers, and community organizers. We work to organize and empower local communities, enforce environmental laws, and build strategic coalitions. Our mission is to protect and restore the Columbia River and all life connected to it.
